Service Dogs:

Warrior Canine Connection: - helping to heal the invisible wounds of our Nation's Combat Veterans.

Service Dog Project: - Providing Great Danes for the Mobility Impaired. One of their dogs, George, received "Service Dog of the year 2015". There are seven cameras on their small farm.

WAGS 4 WARRIORS:The Mission of WAGS 4 WARRIORS is to unite veterans whom upon returning home from war suffer with PTSD or TBI with an appropriate dog, and to provide all of the training, equipment and support for the dog to become the veterans service dog at (NO COST to the veteran).

Operation Freedom Paws: Operation Freedom Paws trains veterans and others with disabilities to train their own service dogs. We leverage the ability of the canine-human relationship to help our clients regain their sense of purpose, worth and value to society and their community.

East Coast Assistance Dogs (ECAD): breeds and trains Assistance Dogs for clients with a wide variety of disabilities and needs. open doors, activate light switches. Our dogs are taught to retrieve items, pull wheelchairs etc. Perhaps the most famous dog from ECAD is Tuesday in the book "Until Tuesday" by:Luis Carlos Montalalvan.

Canine Companions for Independence© is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships. The assistance dogs we breed, raise and train aren't just the ears, hands and legs of their human partners. They're also goodwill ambassadors and often, their best friends. They open up new opportunities and new possibilities, and spread incredible joy.
